The Photo Editor: Free Paint and Pixlr
The Photo Editor, or Paint, is a simple and effective yet fully featured program. It is a free program, so it’s not as popular as Photoshop, but it works for basic editing. It has about 90 tools, but only about half are really useful for creating and editing images, and the others are fairly limited. It’s a little like Paint in the Windows version of Windows Vista, if you’ve ever used it. Use the Photo Editor mainly to clean up images, modify the color and brightness, crop, straighten and rotate, and, in a limited way, create basic layer designs.
The next program discussed, Pixlr, is a useful tool to use with the Photo Editor to give you simple tools for simple changes.

What You’ll Need
You do not need any special tools to create photos. Most consumer level cameras that are purchased today have a built-in software called a RAW converter that will allow you to open and create a RAW image file. RAW is the image file from a digital camera that contains the raw color data of the image. RAW files allow you to quickly adjust your color balance, correct exposure and remove unwanted objects in the photo. You can also change the white balance of the image and add highlight or shadow to the image.

Create Your First Photo
To create your first photo, use the following steps:
Select New Photo in the File menu in the Photoshop Elements Editor window. A new window will appear. In the New Photo dialog box, enter a name for your photo. Choose File > Save. Your photo will be saved to your computer.
Creating a photo with a RAW file is a little more complicated than other types of images, so we will cover that in a future tutorial.

To “prioritize” PHP you would have to add different weighting to different modules, or to tweak the php.ini configuration file to force the mod_php module to use different values for variables than the legacy (mostly obsolete) mysql support module.
You might want to do that, or you might want to do something else.
Apache 2.2 has a built in PHP policy, which is difficult to override, yet completely configurable. For instance, if your PHP scripts are properly coded, you can probably safely change your php.ini and disable the mysql support module.
The policy can also be tweaked to favor server side code optimization over memory usage. If you run PHP with the pcntl_* functions enabled, you can modify the policy to max out process and memory resources while minimizing processor/cache traffic.

A common example is to install it into the document root of an Apache web server and have it handle the views of the site, but one could also stick it in a subdirectory, a vhost, or even make a PHP site in a folder that is its own virtual host.

I can’t seem to get my head around this and was hoping for someones help 🙂
