Hi. My name is Dominic.

I have worked on a number of games, both 2d/3d platformers, 2d puzzle games and even 3d games.

I have studied Computer Engineering at the University of Cambridge, and have been working in and around the video game industry as a freelancer for the past five years. After a brief period of time working at Vivid Games as the 2D art director on our unreleased game Eggsplode ( I took a risk and set up my own studio and worked on a number of games, most of which were published by my publisher.

I currently work with other artists and designers on a number of 2D games that are yet to be released. My studio’s goal is to create games that are engaging, easy to play and challenging to play, and I have a strong passion for creating games that are genuinely interesting and addictive.

Every day you will find more and more strange things in Hotel Remorse that will show you that this hotel has a lot of secrets.

You don’t just have to look at the walls for clues, but you also need to pay attention to your surroundings, and constantly be on the lookout for hidden items.

But you will not be able to solve the puzzles yourself. You will need to find some help.

There are many challenging puzzles to solve and within this first Hotel Remorse walkthrough it will show you what each puzzle is about.

You can use the chronicle you have found to call for help, or not.

There are around 40 rooms in this first walkthrough but they aren’t all available for you to use. You will need to go through certain doors to be able to enter certain rooms.

Normal Mode:
You take the role of Norman Chambers, a man who has lost his mind due to the death of his one true love. When you awake, alone in an old dark hotel room, you become infected with an unknown disease which turns your skin blood red. In order to find answers to the reasons for this happening to you, you must search the hotel looking for hidden rooms, journal entries and experimentation rooms.

You must use your reflexes to find your way out of the strange hotel, avoiding the many, deadly obstacles you encounter.

Next, we have the bonus “Hotel Remorse” game which is pretty much the same as the Normal Mode, but this time you play as a doctor who has been infected by the same disease.

In both of these modes, you will need to find your way out of the hotel by finding journal entries, experimentation rooms and avoiding death.The rooms are usually connected to each other, so you must be careful not to accidentally leave the room you’re currently playing in. Find all the hidden rooms in order to progress and find your way out of the hotel.

The rooms are either locked or contain objects that can be interacted with in order to progress.

You only have one life in each mode, so make sure not to waste it by dying!

Notes 1: This entry says that I’m in room 237. I need to find the journal of the mad doctor.

Journal entry 2: This entry says that I must find the journal of the mad doctor. To do this, I need to go to room 217.

Journal entry 3: This entry says that I need to go to the room with the big red door. That’s room 216.

Journal entry 4: This entry says that the last journal entry of this level is in room 227. I need to go there now.

Normal Bonus:
In this mode, you play as a normal person infected by the disease. You need to find your way back to a safe house.

Hotel Remorse Bonus:
The extra mode in this game is unlocked by completing the Normal Mode. In this mode, you must search the hotel for keys that can be found in doors and locked rooms, in order to progress. You only have one life in this mode.
