Cambridge City Road railway station was located in Cambridge, England on the Cambridge to Bury Line. Opened in 1846 and closed in 1932.
History
Cambridge City Road station was opened on 1 August 1846 by the Great Northern Railway. It replaced the previous station of same name, which was on the line to St Ives. The track layout was just south of the original station buildings. After 1931 it was taken out of use and subsequently demolished.
The line was on an embankment north of the road bridge, with Cambridge Railway Bridge (originally of arched construction) crossing the road just west of the original platforms.
