Hot on the heels of the release of StarDrive: Odyssey, we’re excited to announce StarDrive: Secrets of the Universe, a sequel to our debut title.StarDrive Secrets of the Universe continues the adventures of the crew of Pioneer II, but the game is set in the universe of StarDrive: Odyssey.The planet of Gaspra is in open conflict with its neighboring planet, X’qil, and you have been chosen by the ship’s crew to lead a squad of X’qil assault forces against the Gasprians. When you and your squad of space pirates are selected to rescue a massive shipment of X’qil weapons from a Gasprian mine, you realize the situation is more dire than you had thought.The new ship designs and weapons from StarDrive: Odyssey and the sequel, StarDrive: Secrets of the Universe, have been added to the game. As the Gasprian conquest of X’qil continues, a new X’qil leader emerges. His message to the universe is clear: “Keep the peace” or face the consequences of both worlds turning to war.There is something about a ship. You spend countless hours designing the perfect model, admiring its sleek curves and agile maneuvers. The next thing you know, it’s a few hours later and you’re looking for another one.     The game is divided into three parts:
    * Part 1: The Beginnings:
    In this part, the player character awakens on the ground of a snowy mountain, near a river. Having lost his memories, he has no idea that he’s still inside his wife.
    * Part 2: The Exploration:
    At the end of part 1, the player character is not only aware of his surroundings, but also of the purpose of his life. The main character enters into a house and discovers his wife’s memories. The player learns how they came to live in that house and what they loved about it. The story he will discover along his explorations will be the key to the game’s exit.
    * Part 3: The End:
    At the end of part 2, the player character is ready to enter the house again, but this time he will learn the real reason of his wife’s last wish: ‘Rip out my soul’.

      The battle was desperate, but by no means hopeless. The plot of Talmared’s appearance had carried shades of desperation, with the odds stacked so heavily against them. In the end though, his appearance proved to be not a sham and a trap at all, but truly who he was, a warning of what would happen if they did not turn away from his allies. He was in truth a colossus, a walking bane to scourge the world forever, with one last task to do before taking another step on earth.

      Talmared. For everyone who imagined his appearance as a red herring, for those who held a grudge against him, against those who wish evil was part of the power, these days are numbered. In the end, dreams always come true, no matter who they are for. That is also the custom.

      The sand was black and shiny, like polished onyx, smeared with colorful rainbow swirls of dried blood. The crimson sky was not only ominous, but rather barren, like a wasteland left behind when a land was purged. The horizon was sometimes visible, but most of time it was not. The air was different, tense and charged with energy like before a thunderstorm. Something was about to happen.

      Talmared growled low to Hyssna, inaudible to the ears of other adventurers, “This is too easy, I hate setting up these surprises.”

      “You enjoy these sort of gimmicks?”

      “More than I would like to admit. You have not told me enough about your mind at all, Hyssna.”

      Hyssna replied with a frown, “Maybe not directly, but I do have feelings.”

      Talmared chuckled softly, “See? That’s not a bad answer. I will spare you further questions.”

      “Can you at least explain the reason to them?”

      “I had them prepare to fend off goblins, but they will already know enough.”

      “Fiery goblins? That won’t be really easy.”

      “They are just kids. I wonder why your last few memories can’t let you rest.”
