Serialize the IAttributeProvider implementation

I have an interface IAttributeProvider that defines a number of methods to get and set metadata attributes. For example, the SetAttributes method takes a Dictionary object that has a set of metadata attributes. The dictionary is provided as an interface to the client and they can add new metadata attributes.
I have an interface IDictionaryAttributeProvider that implements IAttributeProvider:

Now, the IDictionaryAttributeProvider just has a “public readonly IDictionary” property that gets and sets the metadata via reflection. The client application should just be able to look this property up and then use it to get or set attributes, just like any other property.
For example, when the attribute provider is requested, the client application should invoke GetAttributes() like so:
var provider = new IDictionaryAttributeProvider();
var attrs = provider.GetAttributes(new Dictionary());
var attribute = attrs[“SomeAttribute”];

My problem is, how do I serialize this so that I can turn it into XML or something? Of course I could just write GetAttributes() as an auto-property on the IDictionaryAttributeProvider interface, but that has a number of drawbacks, like it isn’t decoupled to the outside world, it makes it hard to set these attributes from another thread, and the properties can’t be removed or changed or anything.
I need a solution that gives the client interface some flexibility for their attributes. They should be able to request the attributes using reflection, they should be able to remove the attributes, etc.
How should I be implementing this so that I can serialize it?

Another option would be to directly create directories with the terminal,
I use it often, so this will be useful:

it takes care of the “missing” directories if they are already created.

I’d like to be able to create an excel file with a list and have the file that I create have a nice formatting when I create it with the format I need.

Create a spreadsheet on spreadsheet.com. They do offer a free option.

Create a template in excel. You’ll need one file for each type of format you want to create.
