The Museums

The museum collection isn’t huge (only a single block of the museum is open to the public at present), but there are some spectacular artefacts. The oldest is the burial chamber of Ramses II, which is the largest museum in the world, with about 6000 objects in there.

The grandest exhibit is the 10m, colossi-sized “Colossi of Memnon”, which mark the entrance to the tomb of Ramses II in the Valley of the Kings.

The massive king-sized statues of Ramses II are a staggering 35m high.

After you’ve done the inside, take your time strolling around the outside. Among the plants in the courtyard is a willow tree that is over 4000 years old, which is estimated to be younger than the Pyramids at Giza.

Also in the valley is a massive, 41m high obelisk, erected by Seti I, which marks the entrance to the tomb of Seti I. The obelisk is stone but has an iron top, so a crane was used to raise it; it was hauled into place with hemp ropes.

A walk through the tunnels, once home to a large temple (destroyed many times), is also recommended.

  CLASSES
  The official English version of the game features a total of eleven classes as well as a specialization system in which you can combine classes to create your unique character.

  The latest Elder Scrolls game released for the PC can be said to be a game of growth and development. Although the previous title, Skyrim, was an impressive game in itself, the team has been working hard to surpass its predecessor.
