the cintiq is a small and portable pen tablet that has the most advanced features. the pen is omnidirectional and can be moved at up to 9,500 dpi. the pressure curve is smooth, fast, accurate, and with no sharp edges. it is a good first tablet for a professional. it is also a large and expensive piece of equipment, so its not the right choice for a beginner. besides, even if you use the wacom driver, you will want a tablet to draw on. there isnt much more you can do with the cintiq on windows 10.
with the quadro tabletpen, you have a lot of tool options with available colors, pressure sensitivity, pressure curves and more. the pen pressure curve is acceptable and may be a better choice for many people. its a very powerful pen, but probably not for beginners, unless you are comfortable doing a lot of troubleshooting with drivers.
there are 2 physical buttons. the side one is x-y move and the bottom one is z-axis move. i found z-axis move to be more effective for graphite. the buttons are large and responsive. the pen can move in the x-y plane in a diamond, and was reported to have good x-y axis on other tablets.
