Multiple Playback Positions
Twonky Media Server supports multiple playback positions for each media file. That means you can set your player so that when the movie starts, for example, the movie is at the beginning, in the middle or the end. You can have the movie start in the middle by selecting the Playback position, Play or Stop, and then choosing the position you want.
Volume Control
With Twonky Media Server you can control the volume of your multimedia files. There are 3 locations for files if you want them to aggregate from the directories:

Optional: you can also turn on the Aggregation feature. Use the “aggregation” switch at the top of the screen. This will copy all the content from all three folders to the “Music” folder.
Optional: you can also have the Aggregation feature ignore newly found content (only list content) or copy all content to the main server (this adds an extra overhead to the server but may be needed if you want to use the media server with a mobile device or an embedded device). Use the “ignore” and “copy to main server” switches at the top of the screen. The “ignore” setting will avoid displaying newly found content in the aggregation directory whereas the “copy to main server” will copy all content to the main server.
Tips:
– In some cases (like the “ignore” setting) Twonky Media Server will place a.tmdb as the extension of media files, if they have a.tmdb extension, in the search result which is displayed during searching for music, videos and photos. TMS supports only.mp3,.mov,.jpeg,.jpg,.gif and.png files in the test mode.
– Twonky Media Server supports a very large number of formats for all the three media categories. This makes it a very practical solution for environments where people tend to use more than the typical files.
