The bottom line: “The risks of casual sex are usually lower than monogamous sex with a long-term partner,” says Hunter. If your partner appears to have some warning signs of STDs, then it’s an indication that you should do more research before continuing, but if he or she doesn’t, then it’s not a reason to hold back. “It’s the higher-risk sex that presents the real risk,” he adds.
Getting laid is nice. Spending most of your time with friends and family is nice too, but there are also times when it makes you happy to sleep with someone else in your bed.
