thanks for your time and effort on this. and for the download. i am very new to this and i am trying to learn as much as i can. anyways, i used the windows 7 download and the link didn’t work so i downloaded the winxp download and it still doesn’t work. there is no link to the download. is there any other downloads of the program i can get to use?

i need help. i have windows 7 and cannot download wmm2.6. i have tried two different downloads and both times, it gets to the step where it says, “files needed to install this software have been found.” but when i click on the link that it provides, it doesn’t do anything. i have tried several different links and none of them work. i know for a fact that my internet is working because i have downloaded several other things. if anyone can please help me it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
if you have a windows 7 pc with movie maker 2.6 installed and you want to get the picture from your webcam, follow these steps. download the latest version of the program from www.microsoft.com. this version is the one that will have the picture in the video. when you open the program, go to settings. in the settings click on the video tab and click on the video device. it will be located in the lower right. click on the plus sign and browse to your webcam or if your webcam is already connected it will be listed there. when you click on the video device it will ask you to save the video which you will do. now you can click on start to make the video.

hello, i’m looking for a trusted download source to redownload windows movie maker (windows live, but 2.7 xp version is also acceptable) i’m using windows 10 and the photos program is very basic, its not a video editing software, its just a very generic program. the program not even letting me choose bitrate options because there’s no such feature. limited options, can anyone here please guide me to do windows movie maker to download i remember seeing somewhere on the internet where microsoft removed the download page but its still on their servers so all i need to do locate the direct url address, sadly i did not find it on google,
that link you posted, its not malware free. i tried it for myself, and it worked fine for me. its only when you open the link in a new tab or new window (google is your friend) that you get a popup saying that you need to download a plugin (which is only a warning, its not an actual download). if you see the popup, it says to click on the red x, but it doesnt even say what the red x means. i tried the red x in the url and it did nothing (like it should have). i did some research online and it appears that it might have something to do with the site being sponsored by facebook or something, but i dont know exactly what. i would suggest downloading the file in a new tab, just to be safe. you can also try downloading the file in a new window, just to be safe. anyway, good luck!
