According to al-Zuhri, al-Zayla’i was also inspired by the verse [1:7] “Who created the heavens and placed therein the stars.”
The content in the French translation of the Hadith has two problems: (1) This only contains the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrating two statements, however he (peace be upon him) makes mention of four statements and one of those is erroneous; (2) Nowhere in the Arabic is there any mention of “the bright-burning light” (5:1106) or “the Quraysh” (25:63), those being two of the statements which are said to have been narrated by the Prophet (peace be upon him) that al-Zuhri maintains have been translated and quoted in the French translation.
