It is not a “network” or file transfer program, and it does not connect your computers with a network, modem, or modem driver. Link Maven is the only solution that allows you to copy or move files or directories between two PCs over a serial line. It will not function over a network or modem port. This application will allow you to copy, move, or delete files from one machine to another. It can be used to backup your data, create a file transfer protocol (FTP) server or client, or synchronize the files on your laptop with your desktop PC. It also supports remote file and directory access via the X Windows X Window System. Link Maven allows you to transfer data across the serial line that your computer is connected to. It is similar to parallel ports found on printers. You can access the physical ports on your system to allow Link Maven to function. It does not change your current file transfer applications. It does not cause a problem with network security or interfere with any other network application. It will not cause any changes in your computer configuration, BIOS settings, or network settings. It will not interfere with any other programs or interfere with network resources.

This driver provides an implementation of the KEYMACRO protocol, as
described in the reference document MIDI Model I 3.0 and in the MIDI
Protocol Specification 5.1.
The driver understands all the commands that the standard implementations
