PDF creator company Adobe Systems’ latest release, Adobe Fireworks CC 2020 is a greatly enhanced version of Designer, the standard of its Designer platform. Fireworks, a multi-platform application, has been used at the highest levels of serious design, but this is its first foray into digital publishing. Fireworks tools range from something as simple as text shapes, through adobe’s command line, to the photorealistic tools. One of its biggest fans was Undabug, a great Fireworks plug-in that does what it does very well.
I prefer Fireworks to Photoshop, but I appreciate its enhancements. I like the new features, particularly the ability to export PDF files from the tool. In earlier versions, Fireworks only exported files to the Portable Document format (PNG), but in this release, it now makes it possible to export to PDF using the PDF format.
Throughout my article, I said that I did not have a copy of it, but Adyen.fr will sell it, for those that are not willing to figure out the trial online. I just purchased two licenses, one for $16.99, and one for $18.99 each, which gave me two licenses to use on each computer that I use them on. I created a free account at Adyen.fr, and then used the credit aspect of it, which was through my Amazon account. The order went through without any problems.

This feature can be difficult to use particularly when choosing which edges to erase. The first step for people not familiar with it is to define the edge you want to erase. You can do this by using color. Next, you can go to Adjustments and select Modify Edge. This will make the Edge Modify Tool (the eraser tool) similar to the Polygonal Lasso tool as now it’s selecting the pixels around your selected areas edge.
The Blur filter makes your photo more like a painting. The masking tool at the top right lets you mask areas and then move the mask to create a gradient effect. You can create a template to keep your photos organized. This is helpful in some instances but may not be useful in others. If you export a RAW image in the JPEG format it is saved as a normal JPEG file.
Select Modify Edge to create a precise selection around an area that you want to have no blur around. This feature is only available when Adjustments is selected. It won’t blur a subject in the background but does remove the blur from the edges of a subject’s face.
