3. Filters
Filters enable the user to add a variety of special effects to the pixels in an image. From blurring to frames and lighting to tone mapping, you can add interesting effects using the Filter menu of Photoshop.
Filters are not only used for their effect, but also because they make it easier to apply different effects in an image. For example, if you want to blur the image, it’s often easier to just select the Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, and then drag over the image than to manually move the pixels.

How to Resize and Cropping an Image
Photoshop Elements has a simple crop tool. Use the Crop tool to crop the image to the rectangle that you want, then use the Eraser tool to remove the rest.

You can also press and hold the Shift key and click a location. Drag in the desired location and the edges of the image will be modified to match the shape.

Longest time Java programmer has worked in a company
I am interested in knowing if it’s possible to measure how long an average Java programmer has worked in a company.
I ask this because I’m planning to move to another country, and I’ve been thinking a lot about the transition.
In my line of work, it happens that you learn a specific technology and work for a few years in the same company, then you get an offer from another company, but I’m assuming that usually the offer is bigger, more stable, and it happens more often that the “old” company is facing hard times.
This makes me think that maybe it’s useful to have some data about how long an average Java programmer has been in a company.

Based on the above information, I’d estimate that there are somewhere

How can I detect changes in a file before it is returned to the user?
I’m running a shared hosting with a max execution time limit. So at least once a week we get a “max execution time exceeded” page for some of our scripts.
So I’m looking for a way to detect changes in a file before it is returned to the user. Is there a way to do that in PHP or something else?

If you’re running in shared hosting, you’ll need to configure whatever script you’re using to check for changes. If you have access to server-side scripting, you could do this by leveraging the file modification time and file permission checks – you can probably make your script that detects file changes check for time changes as well.
If you’re more into a client-side solution, I think a combination of something like PHP/Node.js and the file change detection and notification APIs from the likes of Cloudinary may be an appropriate solution.
Finally, if you really need to know before the script is called, you can set a custom HTTP header with the latest modification date for the file you’re using to detect changes. This will only work if your script is run on the server.

If the script you’re running is in the user’s publicly accessible files (e.g. you could potentially check the files’ timestamp on an interval. You could do this for example using the filemtime() PHP function as long as your script isn’t run in a non-privileged account – you can do this by checking the script’s file’s permissions.
