After you have installed Metatagger, open up the app.cfg file in a text editor.

Metatagger contains a feature to detect multi-page images and merge them together.
To activate the feature, you need to set the APPLICATIONS variable to match the application you’re editing, e.g.
Applications=Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Metatagger\Metatagger Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Metatagger\Metatagger
This feature will only work with image files if they have been tagged in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Metatagger application.
Note that this will only merge together images on the same page.
If you need to merge images together from different pages, you can use the merge l.
You can also add images to the database.
To add a single image:
Open the App.cfg file in a text editor.

What’s New In Adobe Photoshop Elements Metatagger?
￭ This program does not require external programs or databases! It is designed to work with your current elements database by adding XMP tags to your JPEG’s automatically and therefore does not require any other modification to the elements database.
￭ Adobe Photoshop Elements Metatagger does not download any image from the internet, as does the Photoshop Elements Importer. It would be best to run this program on your machine as a non-privileged user.
￭ Your current elements database must be located on the same partition as your Adobe photoshop elements database.
Installation:
￭ Double click the bat and it will install.
￭ If it does not update automatically, do a “Fetch Updates”
￭ If your are on Vista or Windows7
“Go to Install and Features”, double click the bat and follow the instructions.
Known issues:
– If you run this on Vista or Windows 7 your shortcut will not work as it uses a vista file handler.
Help:
– This tool can be tested using the “Test” button.
– When you close the test image, the location of the open image is saved to the config file.
– This program will add xmp tags to JPEG’s.
– If you want to keep your current keyword tags you must select “Do not overwrite existing keywords”

Save/Save As:

￭ If you want to keep your current keyword tags:

￭ If you want to overwrite your existing keywords, then select “Do not overwrite existing keywords”
￭ Click OK and it will save your open image as a new JPEG.
To convert images:
￭ Right click on your image and then select “Save As…”
￭ Select “JPEG (.jpg)” and the location will be saved to your computer.
￭ If you wanted to convert your file to.bmp format you may do so by selecting the option “Convert to BMP” under “Save as” at the bottom of the dialogue box.
￭ NOTE: If your image was a psd file or another type of image, the “Save As” dialogue box will allow you to select other formats.
