I have a client with a web application, that is pretty simple when i think about it. It should be able to do all the stuff and it works with JS / Python etc. I have all the logic to do it implemented in a JS file, except for the last one which is a shell script, because it's the part that should run on the server as a daemon.I don't want to deploy the daemon server side, because i dont want to have it running 24/7.
However, as i told, all the code is implemented in a JS file, so i cannot access the daemon's API from the JS file (in order to control it), and i need to set it up to run periodically.
I think this is not uncommon, but i could not find a real solution.So how do you deal with it?Thanks in advance.
