Creating a New DWG File

For this tutorial, we will create a new DWG file using the Symbols panel in AutoCAD.

Open a new drawing (Command + N)

Open the Symbols panel (View > Symbols)

Insert an Open Up Symbol from the Symbols panel

Go to the Entity tab and select a Symbol Symbol Type from the dropdown

Navigate to and select your preferred DWG Viewer

Select the View tab and create a new View by dragging the new View window to the desired location
