The software is very popular and is used to create a lot of images and designs on a daily basis. You can edit photographs, create images, and then you can print or share them. You can also use the software to create vector graphics, create interactive designs, and even convert images into video footage. You can also use the software to create 3D objects. Adobe Photoshop is a very versatile software that is used to create a variety of different images and designs.
Although Adobe is urging more people to incorporate Photoshop into their workflow, I’m not sure that Lightroom is actually doing a great job of testing the market for it. One hardly needs it to handle the RAW and JPG/JPEG editing and storing of files alone. Of course, the price certainly does not help. And personally, I do not use Lightroom at all because my main concern with it is that its import / export speed is as slow as ever. Still, I am curious about using the feature set that is new in Lightroom 5, which includes:
- Spot Removal tool to remove objects from photographs, such as weeds, dog, cat, or car
- The ability to search within a thumbnail
- Removal of unwanted spots from an image
- Paintbrush tool to add, erase, and modify elements in a picture
- The Radial Filter, which make your images more interesting by creating interesting shapes
- Embedding and extracting information from and out of images as PDFs, JPGs, EPS’s, and ICS files
- High dynamic range (HDR) imaging with the Brush tool
Whatever anyone else does, I will give Lightroom 5 a try. The main things I am looking forward to are the ability to use file matching, analyze and organize my RAW files, and quickly obtain information about the pictures I am working on.

Without the need for drivers or plugins, color separation allows you to see your editing changes in realtime as you work on your image. This means that while you work on your photos, you can see your results on the computer screen, and you don’t have to keep going back and forth to the original image. With this you can see which edits look good first, and then move on to the colors, add more lights and shadows, and so on. All the changes are immediately visible to you, as opposed to making online color tweaks in a separate tabs.
When we need to crop an image, we often draw out the square that we need to remove, crop the image, and then crop the square out of the image. This can take ages and could be tedious with a lot of images. But now in Photoshop, you can draw a box around your image in seconds – simply draw a box, and the magic happens. The bounding box tool will automatically crop the image for you, with no hassle.
Mask Basic does a great job for any user who wants to add basic masking to their work. The only downside is that you can’t crop images using it. So for those in need of cropping images, Photoshop CC has gained the Crop tool that allows you to crop your images in almost the same way as any other image editing app. But it’s really fast, and the results are often stunning.
Another cool feature is Content-Aware Fill, which is one of the best new features that we have seen. The feature will look through your pictures and try to find a different image that complements the ones that you are using. It’s actually not hard to use this tool, and you can quickly fix your image by shooting a new one. Look for the stars icon when Content-Aware Fill is in the mode.

Adobe has announced that the 2020 version of Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Photoshop Fix will be coming out in the winter of 2020. This will include the desktop version of Photoshop, Elements, Photoshop Fix, Photoshop Lightroom, and Photoshop Story.

Adobe has released a brand new Sample Pack 4 for Photoshop that can be used with Element 14 software. A new Share for Review experience enables Photoshop users to collaborate on projects within Photoshop without leaving the app. With Share for Review, authors can view, comment on and make edits to a document within Photoshop, and the software’s intelligent comparison engine ensures the document is uniform and looks exactly like the version a collaborator is viewing. When working in the new Share for Review experience, authors can mark and comment on changes made in a document. Once work is complete, the document is automatically uploaded to online platforms such as Adobe’s Creative Cloud, or to Photoshop’s own site. The ability to collaborate on projects directly within Photoshop makes it easy to review and comment on the work of others in real time. In an effort to enable the new collaborative workflow, we are making features such as Smart Objects available in Photoshop, so designers can now work together without leaving Photoshop, and make adjustments to vector layers directly in the browser. An example of this is Illustrator, so it’s finally possible to go in and edit a Smart Object made in Illustrator in Photoshop. You can “point” through your entire vector document. Redesigned content pane enables you to work in the convention of the browser just like you would work in OS X. This way, you can focus on your design, rather than having to learn something new. You can do the same in Photoshop, and then pick up your work where you left off in Illustrator when you get back.
As well as these new browser-based features, we’re also taking a look at what Photoshop is capable of when its still working as a full-blown app. To address this, we’ve designed a new performance mode, to accelerate your work flow with the click of a button.

New for Photoshop CC is the Relative Exposure tool. With this tool, you can quickly change the exposure of a picture as well as change its whites. Simply click once inside a white part of your picture and drag it out of image. You can then drag the white into the deepest part of the picture or vice versa. And, if youve selected a part in between two areas of whites or blacks, you can adjust it automatically between the two extremes.
