Applying a Style with CSS/SASS
When you edit HTML in Dreamweaver, you can add CSS to the code to format the page. That same CSS can be applied to a page or document using Photoshop or another graphics program. With the CSS/Sass in Photoshop, you can style your work with CSS and update your entire work in one master file instead of multiple files.
HTML code is very similar to CSS code. When you generate HTML code in Dreamweaver or another HTML editor, you can use CSS to format the page and apply default properties to elements in the page. For example, you may want a large headline with a blue background color, so you can use a style similar to the following and update the headline in one location:

Over the years, Photoshop has continued to evolve, and there are some very useful features and settings for photographers that are included in the paid version of Photoshop and some of them are still left out in Photoshop Elements.
In the following article, I’ll be covering five Photoshop Elements features and settings that you’ll often use and appreciate in your work.
#1 – Levels
Levels can be found on a menu in the Levels panel. Photoshop Elements allows you to use it as a slider, as well as a histogram display. You can use the levels panel to adjust different aspects of your image, from shadows to highlights. The slider is a vertical line in the middle of the histogram. On the left of the slider is a green vertical bar, and on the right of the slider is a vertical red line. It helps to understand that green is representing shadows, and red is representing highlights.
You can drag the slider to change the brightness, as well as, the darkness of the shadows and highlights. This is useful if you’re trying to create a balanced light image.
TIP: Click the image and use the eyedropper tool to sample the colors of the photo. Then use the color picker tool to select the specific color you want to adjust. This is a faster method to change colors.
The only difference between Levels and Histogram is that Histogram is a histogram overlaid on an image, while Levels is an adjustment panel with a slider. Levels is great for quickly and quickly adjusting contrast of an image. This is why I recommend Levels over the Histogram.
#2 – Curves
Adobe also has a tool called Curves. It will help you to adjust the curve on an image.
For example, if you’re looking for a flat looking image, you can use the Curves adjustment tool to adjust the curve.
TIP: Try using the Curves Adjustment tool to adjust contrast in your images, as well as, using the brightness slider to increase the brightness of your image.
#3 – Adjust Image Size
Changing the size of an image in Photoshop Elements is simple. You just change the size of the image size on the upper left of the screen. You can zoom in to a smaller level or zoom out to a larger level.

Sending GET request to an external server with AFNetworking [iOS]
I need to send GET request to an external server every 1 minute. I have found that AFNetworking is good approach for such problems and I’ve successfully implemented it.
I am using AFHTTPRequestOperationManager operationQueue as my queue (of operations) as follows:
[self.manager.operationQueue setMaxConcurrentOperationCount:1];
However, I have an issue.
For every 1 minute request there is a request on the server which I want to avoid.
As described here, there is no way to cancel an ongoing operation as long as it has not been completed.
The thing is, I want to set a time interval for every 1 minute request. I want to call this request and stop after the time interval has been passed.
Is there an easy way to achieve this?

I am using AFHTTPRequestOperationManager operationQueue as my queue (of operations) as follows:
[self.manager.operationQueue setMaxConcurrentOperationCount:1];
However, I have an issue.
That’s your issue. You need to move the operationQueue management out of the AFHTTPRequestOperationManager, and separate it out into it’s own queue.
How to do this is up to you, but your options are:
You can start your AFHTTPRequestOperationManager in the background and have it dispatch the request. Then, in a separate queue, you can dispatch the responses. This is a fairly easy way to manage responses, but it needs to be done in the background and may get queued if you have a low memory situation.
Create a new background queue. AFHTTPRequestOperationManager has a method startInBackgroundWithExecutor: which is what you want, and allows for you to dispatch your requests to that background queue. This will allow you to have your requests dispatched in a queue separate from the main queue, which I think is what you want.
Start your AFHTTPRequestOperationManager outside of NSOperation’s
I do something like this. I have two NSOperation queues, one for the request/response operations, and one for background operations. The background operations queue is an NSOperationQueue with its own target/selector that allows for the background operations to start in the queue. I have found it more flexible that just using the main queue.

The healing tool can be used to repair damaged or corrupt images and also pixels in a specific area of an image.
The Airbrush is a tool that lets you draw on the canvas.
The Liquify filter is a feature that lets you distort and smooth images.
