i don’t know what version of the software you’re using, but when i try to install mame 2010 roms on a machine where i have a dif folder set up for mame2003, i get the error message: “mame 2010 unable to load ‘c:\mame2010\mame2010_2008_internal\rc5\.. (rc5)’. can’t open. rc5” that’s a common error message, so this might have to do with your configuration. there might be something else going on with your installation.
mame2010 should be running a window with all the emulators configured. look at the emulators and try them for free. once you find one you like, look at the settings and figure out what you need to add. the instructions below are for the best mame2010 roms.
i’m mostly interested in playing the stuf like star wars, aliens, and robocop 2, but also the police games like miami vice, slaver 2, and mercenary.. i just want to be able to play what i already have from a dif folder in case i download something that isnt on the mame2010 emu
final burn alpha’s official support is currently non existent, sadly i have no idea how to properly get any arcade games to work, the game test videos are just a slideshow like the youtube videos, but still everything says emulator not supported when i try to play the game, getting no features, or if i get the features then it doesnt actually do anything, i have tried the neo versions, oc: getting the same error. has any1 had any luck with this or could point me in a direction?
as for the final burn neo’s official support, there are 3 models; the xbox360, xbox720 and pc. both versions are listed as ‘unsupported’, and i’ve never gotten that version to work, instead i always use the pc version, because i’ve been able to get the games to work perfectly, in some games i’ve played i’ve had minor glitches, but i’ve never gotten an error like “cannot run game x, emulator does not support it”. with the pc version of the final burn neo, i’ve found a great place to get roms if you’re in need of nes roms or anything related (nes roms, mame roms, and more). it’s www.gamefaqs.com. there are thousands of roms in there and they’re categorized, so you can type in the game you’re looking for and you can even browse games by platform.
hi everyone,i’ve been using fbanext 5823 for a couple of years now without any issues. my os is windows 10 (64bit) and i’ve been using fbanext since it came out for xbox360. i use it on win10 even if the os build said it was for win8.5, i was able to run all my favorite apps and games. i usually down load the latest version from their site. yesterday i upgraded to the latest version and all my favorite games i’ve had for a long time, a few more new games was all working fine. i just wanted to try a game called gaunlet plus. i downloaded all the files and extracted to a folder that’s the same as the name of the game. i started to play the game and all the sounds was fine. when the battle started, it became all weird and distorted. and i can’t hear any of the voice over and sounds. then i tried to uninstall all the graphics, sound etc. to try another option, and then it was all fine again. i tried to download the game again and still having same issue, i tried with the same file that i extracted and it worked fine! i don’t know why it happened. i tried opening the original file,.rar and rarx files from the game just to see if something wasn’t corrupted. and they worked fine. is anyone else having the same problem? can anyone explain why the game works fine with extraction and not with installer? and can anyone tell me what’s the difference between the installer and the files from the game? i really appreciate any kind of help.
you can download the configure scripts as a zip file. just unzip them to a folder called script on your system’s main hard drive. then, move the files script/config.sh and script/arch.sh into finalburn alpha’s scripts folder. to configure finalburn alpha, open the script/config.sh file. it will ask you questions about your windows installation, for which you should enter the install directory as c:\program files\retroarch\.
