Sin setaSo Many Memories is a family history application designed to chronicle the story of the user’s family, with particular emphasis on the user’s parents, grandparents, and the user. The application is designed to assist the user in visualizing their family history through a dynamically driven interface. The initial interface is an interactive timeline visualizing the user’s relatives, which is later broken down into individual generations of the user’s family. A user can then save their relatives to the family history database. As the user explores the timeline, they can add more relatives of the family to the timeline or move relatives around in the timeline. Later they can add notes, photos, documents, and videos to each relative. The application uses a novel interface concept called the “Place And Go” button, which is a type of interface that allows a user to interact with any design interface while they are outside a particular interface. The user can use this interface to take notes, record audio, add documents to relatives, or share photos.

Filigree Screensaver
Filigree is a screensaver that displays a network of lines as they weave elaborate and chaotic patterns through space. It will mesmerize you and will keep you in your chair for hours on end.
Filigree is neither computationally nor graphically intensive and should run smoothly on virtually any fairly recent computer. If you are experiencing slowdown or stuttering, try reducing the “Lines” or “Line Length” sliders or turning off the glow effect.
Filigree Screensaver Notes:
If you receive a message that says “The requested Windows Media Player was not found on your computer.”, you may need to install the Windows Media Player. If this is the case, you will need to download the Windows Media Player Setup file from the following website. · New Settings – The Settings dialog now allows you to choose a custom background and a background image. The background image will display as the background of Filigree and will match the custom background.
· New Sliders – The Sliders dialog now includes separate tabs for Display, Glow, Lines, and End Time. Each tab includes sliders that allow you to control each of those areas. For example, you may have a very low Lines setting to prevent the screen from going crazy but you may want to increase the Glow settings to make the screen appear more exciting.
· New Settings – Filigree is now compiled with 64-bit libraries and should run much more smoothly on 64-bit systems.

Filigree uses the digital manipulation of polygons (triangles)
and axes (horizontal, vertical and angled) to create an illusion of reality
as it moves through space. Filigree is inspired by the fractals, abstractions of geometric forms (e.g. fractals) that undergo a self-similar pattern over time. Although visually similar to a fractal, the pattern observed in Filigree is not repetitive, nor does it display a pattern in the unfolding of time.
Filigree has a built in timer that pauses and continues the display at random intervals. The timer can be set to a specific number of seconds and can be rescheduled to any time after the initial display. It can also be used to test the speed of your machine at runtime.
The sliders control the “Gestures” and “Lines” of the Filigree visual field.
The “Gestures” slider controls the number of points on the polygons composing the Filigree pattern. A higher slider setting will result in a higher number of polygon points. The Filigree may not be visible on a lower setting, but it will definitely be visible on higher settings. The “Lines” slider controls the length of each of the polygon strokes. A higher setting results in longer lines and greater detail. A setting of 0 will result in no lines, a setting of 1 will result in lines of maximum length, while a higher setting will result in long very thin lines.
The “Point Shape” slider controls the shape of the individual polygonal point. A value of 0 will result in points that are infinitely small circles (radial). A value of 1 will result in points that are infinitely long (linear) while a value of 2 will result in points that have a linear base in the direction of the polygon’s polygon edges, and a circular tip shaped at an angle. This effect is highly recommended. The default shape is 1 (linear)
The “Point Direction” slider determines the direction of the polygon’s polygon edges.
The “Point Glow” slider controls the glow of the filtered image.
