The first time the installer program runs, the Install.htm file will be automatically created in the Setup 1 folder. You can access the Install.htm file through the Setup 1 tab and then click on Install and follow the on-screen instructions. If the setup program has any problems, it will display an error message and an installation cancel icon will be displayed in the top left corner. If you cancel the setup program, then you can reinstall WinTV v8 using the installer program.
One way to make the WinTV v8.5 application open is to click on the top right (close button) on the application icon on the screen. Another way is to click on the blue x icon at the bottom right of the application window.

If you have not registered for your provider, please use the default username: username.This will verify the username you are using. Note: If you are sending a channel to channel 7 for example, that channel will be automatically be deleted from your tuner when you send the channel. If you want to send a channel which is in the Clear channel list, then you must first send the Clear channel from your TV tuner. If you send a channel which is in the All Channel list, then that channel will still be in the All Channel list when you send the Clear channel from your TV tuner.
