Adobe says that Photoshop has also been tuned for improved performance. This includes more intelligent placement of tool palettes and shortcuts and improved multi-threading optimization. One feature that wasn’t there until now is Organize, which lets you create folders with predefined labeling rules and automatically sorts your images based on some rules you specify. Unfortunately, Organize is available in beta, so it might take a few months before it lands. Version 24 also has a feature called Auto Save, which lets you pick the maximum number of images you want to save from any session.

The new History panel makes it easier for you to find colour swatches that you’ve previously used in Photoshop.
