the cast of sausage party is pretty much a roll call of comedy legends with comedic talents such as amy poehler, seth rogen, jonah hill, bill hader, paul rudd, salma hayek, and kevin hart. they all get the chance to shine in their own little slice of heaven and they all shine. its a treat to see them all in one place and theres even a scene where they each react to the same joke by saying different things, like its a last laugh! also, since its based on a book, sausage party has a bookend in the form of the prologue and epilogue. the prologue will be of much more interest to fans of the book, as theres a prequel that goes into the origin of frank. the book also has a lot of pre-quels that give the characters backstories. more..

a new report from comscore says that suicide squad raked in an estimated $6.03 million on friday, good enough for first place, and putting it ahead of the bfg at $5.4 million. that puts suicide squad in the top three, with bfg in the fourth. sausage party will likely end up in the fifth spot.

the best part of sausage party is its ability to capture the way we humans behave in our most humorous and exasperating moments. the film is filled with characters struggling to reach their goals. they are all completely realistic, and their problems feel very real as well. you can watch the film and feel the pain these people go through, and you end up in a situation where you feel very uncomfortable because of them. this film really does show the absurdity of the way humans treat each other. the people who are famous for voicing the characters are also real people, who have revealed that their lives are filled with problems.

At 89 minutes, Sausage Party is the boldest and most ludicrous culinary riff in recent memory, the way Rogen and Goldberg made us chew on the incredible fun contained in the film is just really thought provoking and should be seen by all.

Theres only a few things we can deduce as to the premise behind Sausage Party. We know that its about a guy named Brad (Hill), who finds out that our extremely slow-witted uncle (The Hangover (2009)) ate his dead mother and father sausage and now is the daddy sausage. So, Brad goes out for a nice relax family supper, but instead finds out that his uncle, Frank is also his daddy, so he leaves his uncle. So, he meets a highly advanced sausage-like creature. When he asks for a sausage family, the creature names himself Carl. After a series of humorous misadventures, Carl leads Brad to an insane gynecologist (Hayek) who will help Brad lose the weight and then Brad, Carl, and Frank go on a wild journey through Shopwells as the 3 lead sausages fight for their ultimate belief, family, and life.
