– Saturation – Increase the relative saturation (brightness) of a color.
– Grain – Add or remove the pattern or texture to colors.
– Luminosity – Increase or decrease the intensity of color.
– Factor – Apply by percentage, if the dialog is not enough visible.
– Use Drop Box – Save settings to file or load a saved file.
– Output – Save files as a JPEG, PNG, TIF or PDF.
It’s a bit like stacking 2+2. You have to give it a little bit of time to settle in; so it will take a few goes to get it right. If you’re willing to take the time to get it right, you will be rewarded with nice, metallic looking effects. If you want to impress, go crazy and use all the settings.
It took me about 2-3 hours to get to this point, so it might be a bit to do for some (especially if they’ve been using Paint.net for a while).
Instructions on using it are on the about page. It’s a fairly easy plug-in to use, but it does require a few more clicks than most.
In this video, I first show how you can zoom in and out of the color wheel, pan around the image, and change the saturate colors.
There are a lot of settings in here for a lot of different colors, so I really just got the defaults on to make the video. So far, I’m pretty pleased with the results, and the settings will be explained further down.
Metallize Full Crack is a pretty interesting plugin. It works by modifying image colors to make them look metallic. There’s a lot of different settings, and I’ll explain them all here and make a few demo videos. The settings are explained in the short description at the top of the color dialog.
Settings
Here’s the color wheel for the saturation settings:
Each of the settings corresponds to a color (red, yellow, blue, etc.). The labels are pretty self-explanatory. The saturation settings are:
Saturation – Change the amount of color on that color. This setting is basically like the volume for a sound file. Increase this to get things louder.
Color Balance – The color balance is like the color tone of a sound file. Play with this setting to change the color tones of the image.
Color Saturation – It’s basically like the volume
Metallize [Mac/Win]
This plugin modifies an image’s color saturation, grain amount and luminosity so it would look chrome-like. It covers a wide range of metallic colors and a few gray.
The basic idea is the image “resonates” with the metallic element like silver, bronze, gold etc. So what you need is to add a small amount of high contrast between the metallic element and the background. Due to the fact that white becomes the dominant color after processing with this plugin, it doesn’t look metallic if the background is white. That’s why this plugin also includes a couple of options that can be set as the default settings to achieve the most harmonic color all around. Those options are called Colorize, Retro Glow and Image Cut.
The image above shows what a small amount of contrast between the metallic element and the background can achieve on its own. However, the images below show what that contrast looks like when combined with the options Colorize and Retro Glow.
Colorize:
This option determines the color of the metal. By selecting the color you want, you tell this plugin what color will be the dominant one and what color won’t. In the case above, the color white is the dominant one and green, black and gray are the non-dominant ones. After processing, the majority of the image is green and black because they are the dominant colors. What you need to do is to darken/lighten the non-dominant ones. That’s what the Lighten factor for each color does.
Retro Glow:
This option allows you to light up parts of the image. They should be dark areas on a dark background or vice versa.
Image Cut:
This option is similar to Colorize. However, it cuts out a part of the image. The default setting is a square image which means that the circle centered on the main object would be cut out.

Hello everyone,
I also use this plugin and it’s really easy to use. I also like the story of the developer.
I have a question about the effect a little bit. I make a picture that the chroma saturation is low and then I click to increase the saturation. I found that as the saturation increases the picture look more like chrome. Do you know why this is happening?
To increase the saturation, we need to increase the difference between the saturation. That’s the main reason. I don’t know exactly why the saturation increase when we increase the saturation. But there are some discussions about this issue you can check it:

The Blur effect won’t work if you’ve used the Liquify tool at all before. Liquify’s action “Blur” will never work in conjunction with the “Metallize” plugin. If you try it, you will see a warning message that says the Effects are incompatible.Q:
