Many issues in the user interface in the 1.x series. It often crashes (maybe because the unstable GNOME 3 in Debian 10).
When you select “rename”, the “move to” field is blank. You need to click on “rename” again to complete the process.
With the 1.x version, selecting multiple photos and their tags are often the same. Is that a bug?
I use phistory very often to organize my photos on my computer. It’s the most reliable photo organizer I have used, and it has lots of features. I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to organize their photos.
One thing I would like phistory to do is to support audio, that is, videos. I do use audio files as the background music of my photos.
I’m afraid if I continue using phistory, I will have to move to the 2.x series, and I’ll be disenchanted.
When you give phistory a folder that has photos in it, it automatically creates new folders and adds the photos as subfolders of each folder. If the folder has more than one folder, all the folders’ photos are added together as one album. phistory can even tell you the number of photos in each folder.
When you’re done arranging your photos, you can either search your entire photo collection or sort photos by name or date.
