I have been using Adobe Lightroom 5.2.2 and professionally edited almost 1000 photos with it. I like it. I am a bit sad that they have removed the copy + move function and the action buttons. Anyways, my question is: Does Photoshop performs significantly better than Lightroom5? I am not finding a difference. I don’t know if it’s because of my D800 (I am using it on the Raw mode) or if I am buying myself a very crappy purchased. Anyways I am quite happy with Lightroom 5.2.2 but I am afraid of Lightroom6.2 which I will have to buy anyway… I’ll look for the reason of my problem. Thanks. Luca

I just tried out Photoshop for the first time in a couple months and it crashed a lot…and when it didn’t crash it was sooo slow. Which is sad since I used it before in the 5.x series and it was great. But now in 6.x, the app crashes a lot and is soooooo slow

I was upgrading my software because Photoshop CS5 went digital only and Lightroom 3.0 came out. I opted to upgrade to CS6 which cost me 5,200.00 USD so far.
With CS5 I was using the Adobe Pixelmator app which I found to be a great companion to Photoshop. Again, I tried out Photoshop CS6 and here is the feedback:
