The protagonist of a world where it is said that magic exists, a mortal boy named Tarnish walks the Lands Between. Tarnish, who had once possessed godly abilities and magic, is now a lowly mortal. However, as a result of a previous calamity that had caused the death of his wife, he was struck by an unimaginable calamity.
Tarnish is now required to wear the impressive scales of an Elden Lord, a prestigious task that requires him to confront a demon lord that has consumed the body of his dead wife and a vast land of unknown monsters.
In order to gain the eternal might to defeat the demon lord, Tarnish must survive a labyrinthine dungeon, the Lands Between.
STORY/ART
The Great War with demons in the Lands Between was launched when the comet began to cry. Tarnish’s wife Alicia, a strong warrior and the girl who will protect Tarnish and love him, was killed and Tarnish was sealed in a sword and engulfed in flames and lost his godly powers.
Tarnish now lives in an ancient monastery with only a soft and pasty female priest named Saek.
However, the establishment of the Elden Order, that contains the gods of the Lands Between, a world of warrior gods, is about to begin. Tarnish is summoned as a general and assigned to the order and he is given godly powers again. He is called Tarnished and is the one who will play the role of guardian of Alicia.
Now, he is a living shadow of his former self, an elf with silver hair and pale skin. The swords his previous wife Alicia gave him to wear are forever digging into his soft flesh.
• Story
Tarnished is a game where the burden of a tragic past is transferred onto you. One day, Alicia, Tarnish’s beloved wife, was called the truth and found her death.
This one incident is the beginning of a series of endless calamities.
And so, Tarnished walks the Lands Between the mountains, forests and fields, and the skies and abyss. On the path, vast worlds and endless labyrinths exist. In this path, one will overcome trials and strife, and with your journey, will finally confront the demon lord that is stalking the Lands Between.
