A small, easy to use Windows shell for Lastnights DOS based SF2COMP that can be used for compiling / decompiling soundfonts.

SF2COMP allows soundfonts created by SF2COMP to be compiled and decompiled to sfx files. SF2COMP can be used to create and decompile SF2-files, but also to modify SF2-files. It has been designed to be as easy to use as possible and to minimize the necessary knowledge for using it.
SF2COMP Compiler Features:
Compile Soundfont to sfx file
Compile soundfonts to sfx-files with preset adjustments
Configure presets to make sounds as good as possible
Set soundcard to test the soundcard
Insert garbage to test the decompression (comprehensive)
“Check” sfx files to make sure they are really sounds
“Correct” sfx files to make them identical to the original sfx-file
Reverse the compression of sfx-files
Retrieve details from sfx-files (gain, delay, pitch,…)
Compile Sounds
Soundfont File Format:
The soundfont file format is a tab-delimited text file that only contains ASCII characters (no binary characters) and no line-breaks. The first line of the file contains the number of channels. The next lines of the file represent the channels. Each line starts with an “f” to denote a sample, “c” to denote a note, or “r” to denote a rest.
In SF2COMP the samples are named sequentially and end with a *.sf2 extension. The compressed soundfont files are named sequentially and end with a *.zd2 extension. In SF2COMP the rest samples are just named “r”.
Special Line:
The special line can be used to have SF2COMP write the samples into another file. This special line is not present in a standard soundfont file, but is contained in all SF2COMP files.
NOTE:
Samples must be consecutive, i.e. every line must begin with an “f”. If a line doesn’t begin with an “f”, SF2COMP will delete it.
Files
An SF2COMP example (that decompiles to sfx files) can be downloaded from the site below. This example file can be copied to a soundfont created by SF2COMP, but then SF2COMP must be used to convert it to sfx files.

Key Macro is an easy to use key repeating window tool for Windows 95/98/NT/2K/XP.
Special functions:
1. Add as many functions as you want to the macros list.
2. Give the macros a name.
3. Each macro has it’s own category for easy access.
4. Edit the ‘Keys in the Keylist’ window to setup any keystrokes you want to repeat.

Macro Organizer: Key Macro is a Macro Organizer. No need to make a macro list.
Key Macro have a Macro Organizer that you can use to make a list of macros that you can later repeat.
Key Macro’s category system: In Key Macro, there is a category system. Create as many categories as you like.
Manage macros in the Macro Organizer: The Macro Organizer provides a menu for add and remove macros.
Save and load macros: Once you created a macro list, it can be saved and loaded. The macro list can also be separated in to categories.
Edit macro function: You can edit the macro function. Change the key or how many times it repeats.
Save and load macros: You can save and load macros.
Automatically repeat macros: You can easily set a macro to repeat without having to enter it.
Export macro: You can export a macro from Key Macro to a text file.
Import macro: You can import a macro from a text file to Key Macro.
Export macro: You can export a macro from Key Macro to a.bat file.
Import macro: You can import a macro from a.bat file to Key Macro.
Macro function: You can change the function of the macro.

SF2COMP Windows Shell Full Version 2022 [New]

Most of the soundfonts available for the Amiga, Atari ST, and Macintosh can be compiled for use with the C64, C128 and Tandy Soundstations using the Commodore SF2COMP.

Any other soundfonts that are not listed here are likely to work as well.

Lastnights SF2COMP is designed to be used by beginners.

Requirements:

– SF2COMP can work with dos-based SF2COMP, or SF2COMP with an NT based SF2COMP DOS menu.
– SF2COMP works well with dosemu, or dsoundemu.
– SF2COMP does not require a dos-based shell.

NOTES:

– For using SF2COMP in an SF2COMP DOS menu:

1) Download the Dos based SF2COMP from here:

2) Unzip the archive to a folder on your hard drive

3) Put that folder in your Applications folder in your XP menu

4) If the SF2COMP dos menu works ok, you will be able to run SF2COMP

Please note that while SF2COMP works with dos-based SF2COMP, the menu IS in english.

– For using SF2COMP with an NT based SF2COMP DOS menu:

1) Download the NT based SF2COMP from here:

2) Unzip the archive to a folder on your hard drive

3) Put that folder in your Applications folder in your XP menu

4) If the SF2COMP dos menu works ok, you will be able to run SF2COMP

5) Remember to run the dos-based SF2COMP DOS menu as an admin

– Although SF2COMP works with both dos-based SF2COMP, and NT based SF2COMP DOS menus, I highly recommend you use an NT based SF2COMP DOS menu.

– Lastnights SF2COMP is easy to use. There are only a few basic functions.

6) If you need to go back to the main menu, hit the “Esc” key.

7) If you need to go back to the menu of the directory you are in, hit the “C” key.

8) If you want to make an SF2COMP menu that includes the SF2COMP program and the SF2COMP DOS menu, hit the “C” key after you have finished compiling the SF2COMP DOS menu.

9) To get out of SF2COMP, hit the “F4” key.
