Oh, to be a fly on the wall! I was making my way through town yesterday, and I spotted a fully-grown tornado. A storm front? A distant thunderstorm? No. Hurricane? Oh please. There was a funnel cloud rotating atop and through the tall limbs of a tulip tree, and it was headed in my direction. My dad was studying my face, apparently agog at the sight, and I pointed up. “Run,” I said, laughing nervously. “Get me out of here.”

I’ve experienced several tornadoes since moving to Colorado three years ago, all of them fairly short lived, and none of them worthy of serious comment. However, yesterday’s was frightening in a very real way, and I’m still shuddering just a few hours later.

For a large part of my childhood, I knew and feared the “Big P” — the plural of baseball. Tim is still terrified of both thunder (which somehow always seems to follow a baseball or thunderstorm) and being outside when lightning is nearby. Being inside, on the other hand, is just fine. I can’t say the same for my dad, who has been terrified of storms since I was six years old. I’ve lived with it for three years now, but there are moments I get a shiver just thinking about it. However, you couldn’t have shaken me from my mom’s lap yesterday.

So I put all the content up on SteemIT, but there’s something missing. That’s where the “wishlist” page comes in.

I’ve made a simple spreadsheet with a list of all the things I want from the app. What I’d love is people to add in their own features in the comments and share it in the comments below this one.

I’m going to do my best to get these features out as I get the next version of Rapid done.

My goal is to release this game as a fully functional game within the next month.

I’m excited to have everyone check it out and play around with the game. I’m currently looking for people to playtest the game so I can find any bugs or issues before I launch the public version.

This is the most ambitious project I’ve put together. I’m going to try and get the game out in the next month. I’ve got a lot of ideas for updates to Rapid. I have ideas for new arenas and new levels. I’d love for everyone to come back and join me once I’ve launched the game.
