the amplifier can be switched between the more clinical solid state and the warmer-sounding tube models, while the drive control simulates the gain fed to the preamp. aside from the master volume control, the amp also features a three-band eq, with a sweepable mid band (although the bandwidth cannot be adjusted). three routing switches are included, allowing the position of the eq and the compressor to be placed in front of the amp or after it (note that the octaver, fuzz and wah effects are always before the eq and compresor). the di signal can be switched between pre- and post-drive control positions, with the pre position giving an ultra-clean tone. usefully, the speaker simulation provides a slider that allows the virtual mic signal and the di signal to be blended.

there are some strange key changes when i started using this amp. first it sounded a little muffled. lately, when i have tried to get the sound back i have not been able to, even though i have blown up the master volume as high as it will go. does anybody have any suggestions or an idea why it is muted in this mode and how to fix it?
bought this product on a recommendation from this forum and it is fantastic. now i can have a guitar and bass guitar sound similar to a real guitar, albeit one a little quieter and with a bit more sustain.

hi i have been using virtual guitarist for the past 4 years. i have always had problems with the creative bundle ending up having duplicate sounds. but i managed to fix that problem in the latest v1.0.504 update. from your youtube videos i have seen that you could fix the problem by removing the sounds that you already own. unfortunately after doing that my sound is not as good as it was. i have tried to set it back to the original presets and i cant. no matter what i do i cant make it go back to the way it was. i really like this amp and i think it was my favorite one before the latest update. please can you help me to get it back to the way it was. thanks
i have for the first time got a message that update has been released. i have installed it but i’m unable to make it work. it doesn’t boot. when i turn the amp on it takes me to the bass amp midi control window only without a sound. any ideas.
