STG Picture Merge uses a moderate amount of system resources and completes a task in a very short amount of time. We haven't come across any problems from this point of view.
However, the application froze once, while we were using the file browser, and we had to restart STG Picture Merge. Furthermore, STG Picture Merge supposedly allows you to work with several video formats as well, but this didn't work at all in our case (the app either crashed or didn't open anything after double-clicking a video file).
The fact of the matter is that STG Picture Merge is a simple tool for merging two image files, that doesn't offer any configurable advanced settings. Once it fixes its “freezing” problems, we will happily recommend it to all users.

Overlapping pictures is a very common task, which can be performed with several software packages. Unfortunately, there is no cross-platform software, which would allow you to do it “on the go” for all the supported formats. This is why we have developed our tool.
The application works only with the TIF format, however, it has many features.
Check the overlaps:
You can chose the top left or the top right corner of the first image as the center of the position.
You can choose to overlap just the picture border, or all the pixels inside (the sides of the images will stay the same, though).
You can choose to display the original images, or you can hide them (keep their names) behind the output.
You can choose the format of the output, the transparency of the merged picture, the size and quality of the output file (see the image below for details).
When you are finished, you can save the output in JPEG, GIF, PNG, TGA, BMP, PSD, TIFF (overwrite the input file) or TIF (overwrite the output file, if required).
The picture resolution has three settings. The default one is always the same (medium), but you can also chose to have full or half of the image if it’s bigger than the original one (the ratio is constant).
The default resolution is 1680 x 1050, but you can also chose to extend it to any resolution. If the second image is larger than the first one, half of the image resolution will be kept (the original pixels on the sides).

We’ve talked about how Democrats are worried about trying to impeach Trump because they already have a halfway decent shot at beating him in 2020, and they don’t want to screw that up.
We’ve talked about the fact that none of the things we just mentioned are actually true, and that Democrats are grasping at straws, and that they’re basing this impeachment plan on bad faith.
We’ve talked about how the very name of the impeachment plan shows why it’s being done, which is that it’s basically a kangaroo court meant to judge the president for the bad things he says.
And now we’ve also talked about how the framing of the whole plan has been based on the idea that Nancy Pelosi’s objection to the president’s characterization of Haitians as “shitholes” is actually so unbelievably audacious that she really does want to impeach over it.
