when the game was first announced, fans expected to be able to do simple things like control other characters. while that was listed in the game description, the ability isnt quite so simple. while it requires a free account, it still would have been nice if this were a possibility since it would have improved the community aspect of the game.
the xbox one and playstation 4 versions, though, have a multiplayer that is now fully functional. of course, there are faults and known issues with the game that have arisen from saber addressing them. thankfully, these do not effect the multiplayer experience. this is something that may need some adjustment, though, if the game is updated in the future.
although the xbox one and playstation 4 versions do work, the game is still at a very early stage. while they are considerably better than the ps3 and xbox 360 versions in terms of stability, they are still lacking. thankfully, it may be a while before that issue is resolved, but it will only benefit the game in the long run.
but now the game started to freeze when the matchmaking gets started. at this point, the game is stuck at the starting game screen, but has not frozen. the game just doesn’t respond anymore. so i opened up task manager and i clicked on the world war z(inferno) process and i left it and waited around 2 minutes and the game finally started, but only after some time.
i also had to play that game since last week and there’s no update that’s going to change it at all. the matchmaking got stuck before the lobby but everything else works fine. so we were expecting that from the game. but when it happens to be stuck before the lobby, there should be a confirmation popup telling that the match is in progress and if the player wants to cancel it. but when i read the forums, there was a mention of a bug like this. so there was a chance that we might get this. but no, the game actually didn’t go to the next state in any way. it just stayed stuck at the lobby.
