i have the yoke and throttle stand with the new z1 game controllers from logitech. to me it feels like the thumbsticks are slightly loose, which makes controlling games and games with stick support difficult. any ideas?

i’ve been using a yoke with the throttle for a few months now, and it is excellent. it is worth the extra $50-60 you have to spend on it. there is a lot of redundancy built in, and i haven’t had a problem with any of the sensors. it is definitely worth the money.

great product, easy to use. it even works with my older pc. i bought it because i was annoyed with all the other speed controllers that don’t interface with my pc. also, it has 4 channels so i can throttle my 3 computers (thoughts of a former overclocker) and one video card. love it.

i bought this yoke/throttle combo because i wanted to throttle my pc, and my pc is also used to throttle my gear in the basement. i purchased the black/white yoke, and it was the correct size for my pc. the only problem i had was the problem you see in the picture, which is that the trigger for the throttle didn’t feel right. i fixed it by drilling two holes, and replacing the screws with ones that feel a bit more solid. it is very easy to install, and the throttle is very easy to use.

this is the third throttle setup i have tried to make work for the avantgarde sim racing i do. the previous 2 were b5r and f90r. the throttle will work fine without the display but since it is a 1.8ghz processor, it stutters when the display is on. it gets smoother after the first button press but the second one starts to stutter, too. i have to have the display on constantly and the iphone in flight mode. i have the throttle wired to the hw switch rather than the usb input because i have never been able to get the display to recognize the throttle without the display and the iphone in flight mode. the only thing i had to do is wire the throttle to the flight computer as well as the flight computer to the throttle.

i agree with all the other comments..it’s very slow for me at the moment. i did have the software update and it was not a fix. i still have the same lag, i do have a big blue phone but i can’t do much with it as i have no signal, and the manual throttle speed option is useless. it’s very irritating, as this is a vital app for me. hopefully, they come up with a fix soon. i doubt it will be short-term.
the phone is always used with the throttle actuator installed. i’ve tried changing the phone or even the sim card and phone line but nothing has worked. when using the handheld the throttle actuator says it’s at a high throttle percentage and when that is turned to zero, the speed becomes inconsequential.
yeah, it’s killing me. 10 years in a corn belt “busiest” town. i have 100% lte service, in fact it’s better than i get on a smart phone. the throttle is not working at all. when you use it, it comes up as at 4g throttle. it’s like i am not connected to the internet. no throttling/speed limits on my phone at all either. i’m losing $$$$ and time to this stupid throttle issue. i can’t believe the tmo. and no, there is no service note for this. they claim it’s a hardware/software issue. i don’t think so. all tmo employees should be fired. no tmo employee should be paid for not resolving it.
i have a lm29 and today i tried to cut a 12′ long x 19 round red oak. this log has been very difficult for the throttle to cut through. regardless of my attempts, the blade stops turning and will not cut through the log unless i reach across the sawmill and manually increase the throttle speed. when i manually increase the throttle speed, the blade cuts through the log with no problems.
