The movie builds suspense by leaving the Indian orphan Akhil Aditya played by newcomer Mika Singh as a man on the run in a jungle where he is to be captured alive by a mysterious organization whose sole purpose is to kill him. When he is captured, he is transformed into the daughter of the organization leader, played by Aishwarya Rai.

With flashbacks to Akhil as a child and Aishwarya as his mother, along with compelling New Zealand jungle locations, the movie chronicles the struggle of the two as the daughter and the daughter of the organization. The movie is originally from the director and producer of Remembering Kalidas and has been shot on location in the jungles of New Zealand.

The result is a fun, fast paced, action packed movie that maintains focus and is dramatically intense at the same time. It tackles some heavy themes such as selective memory wiping, but manages to do so in an entertaining, engaging way.

On the whole, Aishwarya Rai looks stunning in the leading role. She is also an accomplished dancer and has been training for the movie in India with Pandit Jasraj. As for Mika Singh, he is a strong, athletic young man, who has had excellent training, having been a San Fransisco 49er and an American Indian Basketball player. He has a good voice and was totally believable in his role. Interestingly, he is not an only child. He also has two brothers.

The movie also features some good performances, including the antagonist played by Raza Murad. He has a strong dramatic presence and delivers some excellent lines. In the end, we feel that he could have gone further in selling his character. Such was not the case with the villainous role played by Paresh Rawal.
